1) Sizing

ā™„ Hooping styles fall on a spectrum from fast offbody tricks with small hoops or slower onbody hooping and tricks with larger, heavier hoops.
ā™„ 3/4ā€ 100 psi PE and 3/4ā€ 160 psi PE are the typical beginner/slow tubing (42ā€ 3/4ā€ 100 psi PE is the best selling size).
ā™„5/8ā€ and 3/4ā€ HDPE/Polypro are the typical offbody/fast tubing choices (30ā€ 3/4ā€ HDPE/Polypro or 28ā€ 5/8ā€ Polypro are the best selling sizes)
ā™„ Don't follow the old addage of "belly button height". Since not every person has the same waist size we base hoop diameter off of your waist in inches (like a pant size).
ā™„ 1.1 x waist = fast/advanced
ā™„ 1.2 x waist = medium/intermediate
ā™„ 1.3 x waist = slow/beginner.
ā™„For beginner trick hula hoops (mainly off body) a good size is half your height in inches! If youā€™re 62ā€ youā€™d get a 31ā€ in HDPE or polypro!
ā™„ We make hoops ANY DIAMETER! If you need something smaller or larger than the listed sizes shoot us an email to dancehoopsproductions@gmail.com

2) Hoop Starter Packs / Size Changing hoops

ā™„ You may find you want more than one hoop for the many styles of hooping. We offer starter packs to minimize shipping and maximize your hooping!
ā™„ We offer hoop starter packs with 2, 3, or 4 different styles of hoops.
ā™„ We also offer upgrades which add an extra push button connection so your hoop can go from, say, a 44ā€ hoop down to a 40ā€! Then youā€™ll get two hoops in one for a larger range of hooping styles!
